We only have Kookaburras and those only sporadically.<br />Great post with the egrets and heron in the same picture.Arijahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03720793296992474762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4708258683294269863.post-50989418570764196362014-05-02T14:54:47.886+10:002014-05-02T14:54:47.886+10:00Thanks Christian. I too notice the absence of Mangrove Honeyeaters from perfectly suitable habitat, and only seem to find them regularly at Boondall and Shorncliffe in Brisbane. I have noticed a Noisy and Little Friarbird influx in the inner-city suburbs and they are outnumbering the Miners around my home at the moment. The Little Lorikeet population has boomed this year too it seems - they are suddenly as common if not as numerous as the Rainbows, and certainly outdoing the Scaly-breasted Lorikeets.Christian Perrinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06835955663432829705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4708258683294269863.post-67344042935937284462014-05-02T11:51:33.050+10:002014-05-02T11:51:33.050+10:00Thanks for pointing that out James. I would like to try that route, but would need someone to drive the car to the destination or have a big paddle back again!James Lagdenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13758015545155258503noreply@blogger.com
