South Australia is a long way away but we too get robins as winter visitors. Our's are the red-caps. This year they only dropped in but did not stay as they have done some years. Our birds are doing unusual things too, the New Holland honeyeaters were having a territorial fight as though it were spring. Here that is not unusual as we have had a long hot, dry summer and autumn.
